Let Me Call You Sweetheart #408 from the All-Time Hit Parade Series. 6.5” sleepy eye plastic doll. Her eyes open and close properly and she has the extended lashes. Her head turns and her limbs move. She wears a white taffeta dress with a white net overskirt that has lace at the hem. The bodice and a gathered panel over the skirt are white satiny fabric with red hearts. White lace is used on the shoulders. Dress is crisp and I see no holes or tears but there are small light stains in the lace. She has short white panties. Gold snap in back has come loose from one side so the dress is held closed with a small safety pin. She wears white ribbon and a white feather in her hair. Her brown hair retains most of its original set. She has her wrist tag and her correctly labeled box. Box and lid may have foxing and/or discoloration due to age. Box has original price tag from the H.C. Capwell Co. The silver label is rough around the edges. There is one dark spot on the box edge. Lid has one torn corner and old tape residue at two corners. There are two cardboard braces and a brochure in the box. Wrist tag is torn. Stored in a nonsmoking and pet free home. A nice little doll to display for Valentine’s Day.
