    Fine Vintage Collection Of Netsuke
    This rare collection is comprised of 29 figurines represents a 70 year labor of love to assemble this assortment. Netsuke art evolved from the Edo Period (1615-1868) in Japanese history. Originally the figurines were carried in small pouches hung from the belt sash of the traditional robes. These objects played an important role in Japanese folklore and life.
    These objects display great artistic merit and extraordinary craftsmanship. The entire collection is intended to be sold together.
